After being introduced to the ethical requirements of doing research with human subjects, students will learn through lectures and practice how to collect, code, analyze and present research data. The varied methods integral to ethnology and ethnography will be mastered through practical assignments. These skills will be applicable to other anthropology classes, including the honours thesis.
