Credit Weight: 1.0 Prerequisite(s): Anthropology 1032 and 1034 or permission of the instructor Description: This course focuses on an analysis of the customs and cultures of the aboriginal peoples of Canada from the time they entered the New World to the present. The course begins with an examination of the migration of Native People to the New World, traces the impact of Europeans on Native societies and deals with some of the key issues that confront Native Canadians today.
