Credit Weight: 0.5 Prerequisite(s): Biology 1130 Description: An examination of the biology and chemistry of wetland environments. Emphasis will be placed on plant species adaptations to and interrelationships with continually-flooded soils. Field and laboratory exercises will concentrate on experimental design, sampling methods, and analytical procedures. A wetland plant collection of at least 30 species is a requirement for the course.
