Credit Weight: 0.5 Prerequisite(s): Business 2033 Description: A unifying framework for understanding the role and contributions of the systems analyst in the analysis and design of data flows, business processes, and interface technologies needed to support managerial decision-making. Emphasis is placed on the systems development life cycle (SDLC) and its implications for the orderly development of information technology solutions. In addition to learning to apply current methods and models to a wide variety of cases, course participants will be expected to demonstrate their proficiency in the use of popular tools for the diagramming, description and documentation of the final systems design.
