Credit Weight: 1.0 Prerequisite(s): Two FCEs in History or permission of the instructor Description: The status of women in ancient Greece and Rome will be examined in the light of scholarship concerning women’s roles in society. The course will cover the development of attitudes toward women from prehistory and the Bronze Age through Classical and Hellenistic Greece to Rome and the Early Christian Era.
