Credit Weight: 1.0 Prerequisite(s): Students will be required to do the Admissibility Test (oral and written) and receive 75% or better before they are allowed to register for the course. Description: A course designed to introduce students to methods used currently for the teaching of French in English-speaking Ontario schools. The audio-visual techniques and the oral-aural approach are stressed. Through a structural review a systematic effort is made to improve students’ fluency in spoken French and their accuracy in the written form. The practical activities form an integral part of this course.
