Topics include: Solving equations; formula manipulation; measurement, including the English and metric systems; and descriptive statistics, including graphs and measures of central tendency. Examples drawn from native art and culture will be incorporated as appropriate. The students will write and present papers on topics relating mathematics and Aboriginal culture.
