Description: The concepts and skills in communication which were introduced in the first year of the program are further developed. Body systems, introduced in Foundations of Medicine, will be continued to ensure that students develop the communication skills and physical examination skills necessary to be able to begin the process of developing a differential diagnosis while continuing to understand the patient’s illness experience.
