Credit Weight: 0.5 Description: Fundamental elements of earth science as they relate to forest soils and substrates. Soil chemistry, origins, genesis, parent material, glacial processes, topography, and hydrogeology. Grade Scheme: Pass/Fail Offering: 2 hours/day for 22 days – 44 hours (1 hour lecture; 1 hour lab/tutorial each day) Notes: May only be taken by students in the Transition Program for the HBScF or HBEM.
