Credit Weight: 0.5 Description: Principles of habitat management for fish and wildlife will be discussed and reviewed. Particular emphasis will be placed on understanding the concepts of ecosystem management for wildlife and forest products as well as understanding how selected wildlife species respond to changes in their environment. The impact of forest management on fish and wildlife habitat will be considered and means and methods to mitigate any potentially harmful effects will be an important part of the course.
