Credit Weight: 0.5 Description: This course is designed to provide the students with knowledge and an understanding of occupational health and safety concepts in the industrial and institutional settings. This will include lectures/seminars on health and safety legislation, nature of settings (management, administrative and economic), industrial relations, occupational health services and practices. Reference will be made to occupational health diseases, toxicology and ergonomic problems which affect the worker.
