Credit Weight: 0.25 Description: A course for intermediate and senior level subject teacher-candidates that will focus on the literacy demands of the subject disciplines and how to integrate a variety of literacy approaches in support of student learning. The course will examine the concepts of multiliteracies and critical literacy, and will incorporate a broad range of instructional strategies and resources such as textbooks, trade books, visual representation, media, and digital texts as they apply to learning across the curriculum.
