Prerequisite(s): A mark of at least 60% in Business 2038 Description: This course has been designed to provide a detailed look at organizational structure and functions. The overall aim of the course is to create a better understanding of the alternative ways in which organizations may be structured and the impact which various structures may have on effectiveness and efficiency. Emphasis is placed on the organization as a complex set of specialized subsystems operating in a dynamic environment and the attendant need for innovation and organizational planning.
